Since July 2016, Dr. Leslie Boozer has served as the Superintendent of the Dublin Unified School District, a preK-adult school system with over 10,000 students. Prior to coming to Dublin, Dr. Boozer served as the Superintendent of the Fontana (CA) Unified School District wherein she oversaw 44 schools serving over 40,000 students and as Chief of the North/Northwest Side High School Network in Chicago Public Schools, wherein she oversaw 22 high schools and two K-12 schools, serving over 34,000 students. In 2006, Dr. Boozer was selected into the prestigious Urban Superintendents Program at Harvard University. Upon admission to Harvard, she was awarded the Zuckerman Fellowship, which is a university-wide program honoring leaders in business, law, and medicine who are dedicated to public service and have excelled academically. Dr. Boozer holds a Doctorate of Education from Harvard University, a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management also from Harvard, as well as a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Law. Upon graduation from UC, she was honored with the National Association of Women Lawyers Award. She is also a summa cum laude graduate of Cumberland College, where she majored in business administration and history/political science.
